Kate is a mixed media artist based in Southwest London. After graduating with an MA from Central St Martin’s School of Art many years ago, she worked as an illustrator and freelance artist, with her illustrations being commissioned by both commercial and editorial clients.
After a long break from her art practice and having worked in other industries, she has recently returned to her art full time. She works from her home studio and also regularly paints landscapes and figurative works en plein air.
Her work includes paintings, collages and occasionally mosaics and fabric items.
The work shows her inherent love of colour and shape and often takes an informal and playful approach to both process and subject matter. She now enjoys exhibiting her work in group shows and has had work shown in local galleries.
She is an exhibiting member of Richmond Art Society as well as KAOS and SOFAP artists and she also runs regular workshops and undertakes private commissions
